Nightfall by the Sea

O díle

I wanted to try something new. Something like an abstract landscape. I was also inspired by Van Gogh and his impressionistic landscape work. I wanted to make something similar, but in my style as well. So, I chose one of the photos my girlfriend sent me from her time in Asia and got to work. The photo portraits a beautiful sunset by the beach underneath the palm trees. I can only imagine what it was like standing there. But I tried to feel into the photograph and transfer the feeling onto the canvas.
