This artwork is inspired by a song called “Stranger in Moscow” by Michael Jackson. It is painted in black and white colors only to show the dark atmosphere of the streets of a foreign city where the rain is a metaphor for depression. It portraits how alone can a person feel in crowds full of people. Or like a stranger in a different country and culture. As if you didn’t belong anywhere. It is a feeling of loneliness and despair. But it is not all that bad. It is depressing but somehow in a good way. I can’t describe it. Maybe it is just meant to be this way but, “how does it feel?
How does it feel when you’re alone, and you’re cold inside? Like a stranger in Moscow.”

This artwork was submitted to a worldwide art contest Art Olympia 2019 and got an Honorable Mention.
