About the artwork

“Nothing Really Matters” — that is the name and thought behind this artwork.

When I imagine how small we are compared to the universe.

When I imagine that a few years after my death no one remembers me.

When I look at our little planet and see even much smaller people, how big are our everyday problems? From this far it really seems that nothing matters. Suddenly, you see that caring and stressing about irrelevant things is nonsense. It just doesn’t matter. life goes on. The Earth is going to spin as it has been for millions of years with or without us.

Also, why am I writing this…

I don’t mean that my life is indifferent to me. It’s okay. This is just something to think about. The only thing I want to say is that we shouldn’t take everything so seriously.
